Best Workplaces for Women Award
April 2024
Halsten was named one of the Best Workplaces for Women!
In the category of small working places for the “Best Workplaces for Women” award, Halsten took fifth place. Ranked based on the best score among some 225 certified organizations. A result we are super happy with!
Trust Index™ & Great Place to Work
The award is based entirely on our employee feedback and measured using Great Place To Work’s Trust Index. A concept developed to gain insight into organisational culture, with a starting point of mutual trust between team and management. At a score of 70% or higher, the A Great Place to Work certificate is awarded, from which e.g. a nomination for the Best Workplaces for Women Award can result.
Organisations that can proudly to call themselves a Best Workplace for Women must meet four criteria to qualify:
- The number of women equals or exceeds the CBS benchmark in the organisation’s industry;
- The percentage of women in leadership roles is more than 33%;
- Senior management consists of at least one woman;
- A Trust Index score of 70% or higher according to the women in the organization (annually, more than 10,000 organizations worldwide participate in the Trust Index, with an average score of 58% in the Netherlands)
What does Halsten do well?
With high scores on statements such as “People here are treated fairly, regardless of their ethnic origin and/or religious beliefs.”, “I would highly recommend our organization to friends and family as a ‘Great PlacetoWork’.” and “Management puts trust in its employees and gives them the space to perform their jobs.”, Halsten was able to receive this certification and nomination.
Our result
The nomination as well as the results from the entire survey (Trust Index) are very important to Halsten. At Halsten, we work on our areas for improvement and celebrate our successes.
