Allard draws on his broad working experience in different types of organisations – including international an consulting firm and software startup – to provide tailored advice with a pragmatic approach.
He has extensive experience within multiple areas of law, with a strong focus on contract law, IT law and privacy legislation (GDPR). Therefore, advice on privacy compliance(DPIAs, international data transfers, processing agreements) is no problem for Allard as well.
In addition to delivering clear, practical and risk-based advice, Allard closely follows developments in upcoming EU legislation, such as the Digital Services Act (DSA), the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), and the AI Act. When Allard closes his laptop and momentarily steps out of his role as legal counsel IT & data, you’ll find him kitesurfing on the water in summer and skiing through the snow in winter.
Additionally, his specific experience includes drafting and reviewing Master Service Agreements (MSAs), general terms and conditions, IT contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), privacy statements and data supply agreements.
