Jip was born and raised in Amsterdam. She completed her Master’s degree in Private Law there as well. After acquiring her diploma, she started her career as a legal counsel at Halsten. She works on a broad range of projects but has a strong interest in employment law issues and general contract law.
Jip is a driven and curious legal counsel who enjoys creating efficient and sustainable solutions for clients. She supports her colleagues on a wide range of legal issues, with NDAs, issues regarding ill and dysfunctional employees, negotiations on termination agreements and various HR matters passing her desk several times per week. Jip provides well-considered advice, taking into account the organisation’s goals.
Her motto, “there’s something new to discover every day,” applies both at work while drafting legal advice and in her free time during her travels across different continents.
